Early After breakfast at your hotel/riad in fez city our guide/driver will pick you up in an air-conditioned vehicle and take you to Rabat, the present capital of the kingdom of Morocco. We will start your city tour at Dar El Makhzen (Royal Palace) where you will only be able to see the palace from outside. This palace dates back to 1864 and presently houses over 2000 people: inside are the prime minister’s offices, the imperial college, the Ahl Fas Mosque, a small race track, and the barracks of the Black Guard. Next ,we will see the Mohamed V University the Morocco’s largest university. then we will walk past the Hassan Tower and visit the Mohamed V Mausoleum where The entrance leads into the burial chamber, whose walls are decorated with Zellige (Moroccan tiles) and stucco and has a cupola covered in gold leaf. After that we will go to the Kasbah of the Oudayas square, where we will see the Oudaya gate on the northern side. Next is the Rue des Consuls, the architecturally most interesting street in the Medina. Our last stop of the day will be Souika Street or (souk), the busiest shopping street in the Medina of Rabat.
