Day 1: Fez / Ifran /Medilt / Todra Gorges

In First day of Fez to Sahara Desert Tour we meet you , Our destination will be Todra Gorges, from fes city passing through Ifrane the cleanest town in North Africa. We will stop close to Azrou to watch the monkeys, rest, and, of course, snap some pictures before moving on into the middle atlas and cedar forest. We’ll also travel past numerous berber settlements. Lunch will be served in “Medilt,” an apple town. As we travel through the Atlas Mountains, taking in the scenery, we eventually reach the small village of Rich. In this point, we turn right and travel through the well-known town of Imilchil. We will arrive at the Todra Gorges just before nightfall, where we will have dinner and spend the night in a wonderful hotel surrounded by mountains, rivers, and a valley.

Day 2: Todra Gorges /Rissani / Merzouga “Erg Chebbi”

We’ll go for a walk in the Todra gorge after breakfast before heading into Merzouga. through Tinjdad, Jorf, and Erfoud, one crosses the Ziz Valley. We’ll make a pit stop in Rissani for lunch at a wonderful, traditional eatery where you can try the delectable “Berber Pizza” that is a specialty of the region. After a brief stop, we depart for Merzouga, where the tour from Fez to the Saharan desert will begin. Depending on when you arrived in the historic Kasbah at the base of the Erg-Chebbi Dunes, we arrive in Merzouga before dark.

After a short break and a cup of mint tea, your guide and camels will be waiting to take you over the Erg-sand Chebbi’s dunes so you can take in the grandeur of the setting sun. You will arrive at the desert camp in two hours, where you can spend the night in a berbre tent. Your camels are hobbled and mint tea is being served at your desert tent. After a delicious meal, you can spend the night in a berber tent while gazing up at the stars.

Day 3: Merzouga / Ziz Valley / Fez

On your final day, get up early to see the sunrise from just behind the Algerian border, which is around 50 kilometres from Merzouga, while strolling over the sand dunes. After breakfast, a shower, and some rest, we ride a camel back to the hotel before returning to Fez via the Ziz Valley, Berber towns, and the Middle Atlas. The excursion will end when we reach Fes in the late afternoon.
